SSD into a MacBook?

Hey community,

I have a Late 2007 Macbook and was considering putting a SSD in it in replacement of the current hard drive. I was more wondering than anything. How much of a performance upgrade would this be? Is it worth it?

I would get a 120GB.

Thanks,
-Josh

  1. It would very much be worth it this is the single best upgrade in performance I have seen in a computer or at least on par with video card upgrade.. it breathes life into old clunky notebooks for sure.

    Thent
  2. I'm definitely going to consider it then, as while this Macbook is somewhat quick still, it needs to last me another 4 years for college, so it seems like a good upgrade.

    Thanks!
