Hey everyone I haven't posted here for a long time...too busy with college, but now its summer again xD. One of my friends wants to build a new computer mainly for playing StarCraft 2 but also other basic uses like internet browsing, etc. I've been out of the game for awhile so i just wanted this to get a final lookover by you guys before giving him the go ahead
APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Probably this week. He is willing to wait until around July 20th if there is any reason that could save some money.
BUDGET RANGE: Around $900 including a monitor but he doesn't need an OS
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Movies, Internet
PARTS NOT REQUIRED: OS, Keyboard, Mouse
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg.com but possibly willing to buy from other places if the deals are there.
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA
PARTS PREFERENCES: I have a lot of brand preferences personally but they are just the common ones that everyone has. (Basically all the ones that aren't bad)
OVERCLOCKING: He's knew to system building so I'll say no on overclocking but its not out of the question in the future.
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No I don't see any reason for it right now
MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080 (at least with what is picked out now)
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Like I said the main reason he is building is to play StarCraft 2.
