Corsair 500R and SSDs

I decided to buy a Corsair 500R case and went with a samsung 830.

I guess it means that I don't have to buy the hard-drive caddy to make my ssd to a 3.5'' correct?

So getting this is samsung 830 without the desktop upgrade kit is OK?

Yes that's correct. The 500r's HDD cage is designed to accept both 3.5" drives and 2.5" drives. Your Samsung is a 2.5" drive. Therefore you don't need a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter to install the SSD in the 500r.
