Ms-7184 compatible ram types

need a bit of help want to upgrade my ram but i think my motherboard will only support ddr its the ms-7184 would be good if i could use ddr2 thanks if anyone can help with my question

Since I can not find the board on MSI's website I presume it is from a OEM machine http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c00399477
Socket 939 only supports DDR!

Here are the HP specs:

Memory
• Four 184-pin DDR DIMM sockets
• Supports dual channel, eight memory banks DDR 333/400 DDR DIMMs
• Supports 2.5v DDR SDRAM DIMMs
• Maximum approved memory is 4 GB without ECC

so your motherboard will not support DDR2, only DDR.
