Hey guys,

I am gonna buy Intel Core i7-930 with Intel WX58BP original board.

I'll be using this machine for gaming and web development(PHP). Will dual-boot Windows 7(for gaming) with Fedora 13 (for development).

It ll also have nVidia GFX card (1 GB) with 4 GB DDR3 memory.

Will that be a good choice? Or should I not go for Intel WX58BP Workstation board? Does it makes sense to use a workstation board for gaming?

I don't know many workstation boards, but I do know that Intel's board have surprising low quality. Frankly, I can't think of any board that's marketed as "gaming" or "workstation" (outside of server boards). I'd just grab a high quality board, like the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R.

Also, I'll point out that you'll need a third stick of RAM to go with the 930. It uses triple channel RAM. I'd look for an exact duplicate of the sticks you have, just as a single 2 GB stick.
