FX580 vs FX1700 and FX1800

I am going to build a video editing suite and I thought I would start with the video card. Quadros seems to be the most popular and both PNY and Leadtek have Quadros cards but I was wondering what you get when you go from a FX580 up to the FX1700 or FX1800 or even the difference between the FX1700 and the FX1800.
