Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power ATX12V Ver.2.2 / EPS12V version 2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply

I don't know much about power supplies. I am going to be running an AMD Phenom II x4 955. It says it's compatible with core i7/i5, will it still be compatable with the AMD processor and the AM3 mobo? Thanks.

you will have no issue with your AMD CPU, its a very good PSU. make sure you have a power cord though, it does not come with one.

You mean the main power supply cord for the wall?

Yes. Most PSU's come with one, but for some reason, some of the Antecs don't.

It should have no problem running two 5770's Antec makes very very good power supplies.

Good Luck

The EA380D 430D and 500D do not come with power cords, the higher powered units dont appear to have been revamped and still come with power cords. The EA650 is plenty of power for 2 5770s so dont worry.

Will the Antec 650 be able to be mounted in an Antec Three Hundred Illusion? The case looks like the psu would go on the bottom. Can someone please explain this thanks. Just looks a little unconventional to me.

There is no problem at all. Since the Antec 300 doesn't have holes on the bottom for the PSU fan, just install it with the fan looking up.

A PSU needs air as cold as possible. The air inside the case is warmer than the air outside, so the refrigeration is a bit worse, but don't worry, it's all right. There is no problem at all. Moreover, the ANTEC Earthwatts 650W is a quality unit from Delta which works very well. Just install it with the fan looking up and you will be ok.

most new game cases use the PSU bottom mount. I have the antec 300. I ran PC power & Cooling and Corsair PSU in it, never had a heat issue with either one.
