Ok well get the phenom 955/965 now or wait until bulldozer? (will bulldozer and the other new architetecture be really that much better? but that also means new motherboard so...? your thoughts and opinions please and thank you.

uhh it is but my cpu is a little weak.
But will the bulldozer cpu's be over 200?

That is a very capable chip if overclocked. Why don't you spend the $30 and grab a Hyper 212+, clock that CPU to 3.6GHz+ and enjoy great performance until BD is out?

That would be a good jump. If you are not worried about getting Bulldozer right away I would get the 955/965 black now.

If you had a x3 or a x4 I would say wait, If you do get the 955/965 the jump to bulldozer will be less of a improvement.

With the 955/965 you can make your current system last at least 2-3 years and still be happy. I have a Xeon x3350(q9450) and I will not upgrade until PCI-e 3.0 and USB 3 or 4 and SATA 6 or higher are available.

With the exception of GTA 4 and BFBC2, there are no games out that really need more than two cores, so I wouldn't worry about it for awhile.

The cooler duk3 linked to is one of the best performing AMD coolers, especially for the money.

Make sure it fits in your case first though. What case do you have?
