HELP did i order the wrong memory?

Hey guys did i order the wrong memory for my board?

Mobo: Asus P8p67 Pro

Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-8GBRH

Im reading the mobo manual now and am reading the "qualified vendors list".

Now it says the "G.Skill F3-12800CL7D-8GBRH(XMP) 4GB (2 x 2GB) DS Timing: 7-8-7-24 1.6 voltage" qualifies. But i ordered the 8gb (2 x 4GB) and its not (XMP) and i dont see the 8gb g.skill fall under the Qualified vendor list.

Do i/should i order one that matches the QVL?

You will be fine with that ram!
QVL list is based on ram they have tested with the board, they do not have time to test all ram on the market.

Exactly ^ .
Your motherboard supports DDR3 ram. Since the sticks you ordered are DDR3, you wont have any problems

It will work fine. I have the Ripjaws X version of that memory ( same voltage and cas, different look ) and all you will have to do is set it to XMS in BIOS. You may also have to set the voltage to 1.6 if XMS does not do that although it probably will.
