Is atapi cd/dvd rom the same as tsstcorp cddvdw

i am having problems with my cd/dvd rom in device manager it says tsstcorp cddvd ts but somewhere else it says atapi cd/dvd rom which is not listed in device manager are they the same

"atapi" just refers to the connection interface standard and is a common standard for all internal drives today. The drive you see in Device Manager shows you the make & model and is the same as the "atapi cd/dvd-rom" device, just two different bits of information about the same drive.
