Hi, I'm trying to install Windows 7 32bit Home Premium on my Compaq Desktop, and when I get it loaded up from my Install disk and select my hard drive storage which has enough space to have Seven installed a message that says this pops up:

Windows cannot be installed on this disk, Your computers hardware may not support booting from this device. Check that the disk's controller is enabled in the BIOS.

My desktop is the Compaq S0000 - How do you enable the controller for my hard drive in the BIOS?

I've checked every option in the BIOS and I couldn't find anything..

Please help - Thanks!

That makes more sense, however I'm using my other Dell Dimension 4100 - and when I boot from it after the "Starting Windows" Screen I get BSOD and it says "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA".

Technical Information:
*** STOP: 0x00000050 (0x8E7FFDF4, 0x00000001, 0x8BC7DE13, 0x00000000)

This is what I thought was important from the BSOD all the middle text says is disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing, and I have no idea how to do that and no idea if that would even fix this.

Hope you can help!
