yo i got a few questions...
- what is the better cpu
-would a stock i5 vs a stock q6600 be close to the same?
-would a stock i5 vs an overclocked q6600 @ 3.6ghz be close to the same?
-is it worth it to upgrade to an i5?
if you know the benchmarks for the 2 that would be cool if you could send the link...thanks

cool thanks.....

At stock speeds the Core i5 750 would be considerably faster. At similar speeds, they wouldn't be too far apart, the Core i5 with the lead of course. I wouldn't upgrade right now, I don't think it'd be worth it.

i think any quad to quad upgrade is pointless, unless its amd barcelona you are coming from, keep the q6 until you feel like moving to hexacore/octocore

LoL i was thinking the same, and was constant asking myself stick with the q6600 or go for an i5, sadly my quady does not clock very high
I can only get it to run at 3200 Mhz i simply can't get it to run higher somehow.
Even though everyone says it should be able todo so
