I recently built a MATX gaming rig and my ram doesnt show up at CL7 7-8-7-24-2N (i have 8 gigs of RAM) i dont know how to enter it manually and im afraid of messing my BIOS up any tips feedback ?

im using windows 7 64 bit OS

i built all of this for about $1,385.50 (bought 3 fans and OS and mouse )

Homebuilt system Expert

The reason your ram doesnt show up as 7-8-7-24 is because its designed for intel processors. Just go into bois and change ram voltage to 1.6v than change first 4 numbers of timing to 7-8-7-24 If you system is unstable try 8-8-8-24

Depending on the mobo, usually there is a page that shows the numbers and also an option that changes from Auto to Manual - Once you change to Manual you can change the timings

i found where to change them but there is alot of stuff to alter i click on DRAM timing to change it and i get the option of DCT 0, DCT1 and BOTH

i dont know what to really do after that haha
