  1. No, the 7300GT is super weak. if you want a cheap GPU upgrade consider the 4650, it will be significantly more powerful.

    is it better then the chipset?
  3. Yes the 7300GT is better than the chipset, but it will still be a pretty poor performer, but if its free go for it nothing wrong with a free performance boost.


    You can see how things fit relative to each other by taking a look at the graphics hierarchy chart, the G33/G31 chipset uses the GMA 3100
