I unlocked all 4 cores of an Athlon x3 440. It now tells me it is a Phenom x4 B40 but no L3 cache. I have had no problems with performance and running prime95. The question is now when I run memtest no matter how low I make the ram test the processor power jumps from 51 watts to 140 watts in CPUID HW Monitor. Should I be concerned with this?
