Lower spec discrete GPU? Usually the onboard is as low as you can go with the exception of older baseline cards. A modern discrete card would in almost all cases be an upgrade to the onboard.
  2. does this also mean sir that using a discreet gpu could extend the lifespan of my motherboard????
  3. No it will not extend the lifespan of your board. It will free up system memory since the card has its own designated memory along with a more complicated GPU onboard it will over all increase the performance of the system.
  4. Thank you sir for the very informative info..
