I think he means a flatbed scanner,probably and hp or lexmark!

If you can't find the driver, give vuescan a try.It's not free but works with almost all scanners

Or Benq and Acer Scanner 4300. But, the Hamrick should do it. ^^^

Hamrick is the best for slides, negatives and photos.

Another option would be SilverFast Scanner Software, with smaller scanner support.

Both are very good for most users, IMHO : )
