Hi Guys

I have a query and this is it, it only really applies to the AMD users as they will be the ones with the more common issue that i am going to be talking about.

And that is as follows, i need to know how many of you guys seem to find that you are getting odd blue screens and freezing. I have a AMD 4000+ and have checked just about everything to try to find out what the problem is i am convinced that there are A couple of buggy issues with Windows 7. I have Windows 7 Professional 32-Bit. wont you guys let me know if you are having any issues just of the experienced users you should know what im talking about.

Sweet Forum

Blue screens are normally caused by either faulty memory or bad drivers particularly video drivers In your case I suspect that you have faulty memory. Try downloading memtest86 to test your memory.

QFT. +1000. Do what he said OP. Here is the link: http://www.memtest86.com/

You can also download UBCD which contains a lot more utilities: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/

Which socket is a 4000+? If this is a fairly old system, some components may be 'losing it'. I second UBCD, although I only used a couple of the other tools, it was nice to have it all in a convenient package.

I've done memtest already off a linux disk, same program used in ubcd. 4000+ is a dual core model it is a X@ Athlon, this is still the socket AM2, it is older generation, i have done every hardware test you can think of and nothing comes up, with all of it. The only valid reply would be palmental on the video card driver issue i can only thing that might have some sort of an impact from what i have done already. So i guess its a format, as software wise i have done everything there as well. =)

Thank youo guys for all the replies, so i guess its jus me, with this issue.
