Front audio panel

i have gigabyte GA-M68M-S2P motherboard. the problem is that its not detecting front audio panel. i have tested the connections and they are fine but then what's causing the problem? please help.....

Try setting your BIOS audio to AC97

can u please tell me how to do it? i have updated my bios but have never found bios audio.

I'm at work and can't get to your manual right now. But it's easy;
hold down delete while booting until BIOS comes up. Follow the sections (should be in "peripherals"), it's calld Front Panel Audio or such.

i googled it n i got d answer 2 my problem. i had actually checked the box of front detection panel in realtek audio manager so i unchecked it n now my front audio panel is working. bt thanks 4 d help.
