Can I apply this applique on steel?

I was thinking of buying this: http://www.crazypc.com/products/82302.html for my cm 690 that I have. The thing is, I don't have a window. Can I still apply this using the method of spraying a mist of water and applying it?

I'd say yes, if you get the metal smooth enough and clean... VERY clean... get 2 and that way you can have a backup

The applique is vinyl according to your link, so it should work. Just be sure to clean the side panel's surface in accordance with the directions. If the side panel is not very, very smooth, the applique may not stay attached.

since it is painted on, there is some tiny tiny air bubbles throughout the panel, will these harm the applique?

try to get them out, but they won't harm the overall project. they just make it look a little less professional.

You shouldn't have a problem, just take your time and follow the instructions as close as possible.
