Corsair 650w strange sound

I have a 650w Corsair psu.


I'm noticing something strange. It's fan is very quiet but I'm hearing something strange coming from it that can barely be heard.

It sounds like it's vibrating almost but I'm not sure. There doesn't appear to be any loose parts inside it so I'm not sure what could be doing it.

Anyone else with this powersupply hear it?

Are the screws on it tight?

It could be coil whine, how loud is it?

If it is, it shouldn't affect anything performance wise, but can get annoying after a while. In that case, probably the only sensible solution is to RMA the PSU.

I only have two screws holding it in but those screws hold it solid.

As far as the psu the screws on it seem tight.

I can barely be heard. I'm the only one in the house that hears it at all while on the computer.

Update: It umm kind of ticks but like I said nothing seems loose so it has to be the fan right?
