What do I need for water cooling

I'm new to liquid cooling and I was hoping to water my CPU. I wondering what you need to do so.

I know I need a radiator, CPU water block, reservoir, pump, tubing, and fittings. But I have no idea have many fittings I need.

More about what water cooling
  1. If you are new to water cooling, you may want to find a water cooling set or combo on the internet. If you want a simple water cooling system (which does not perform nearly as well) then try the Corsair H50 or the CoolIT ECO/Domino.
  2. that's what I have already, it works alright but I want to do a true liquid cooled system
  3. Going to watercool your GPUs too? Internal or external radiator? Have you set a budget yet?
Zalman Reserator 1 V2 Fanless Water Cooling System
  4. not going to do the gpu, I was planning on going to frozencpu.com, and I put together a system, it came to be around 400-500 dollars, thats including the radiator, cpu block, pump, reservoir, tubbing, and fittings but I i'm not sure how many fittings I need, o and the radiator is a dual 120 mm fan
  5. Are you in NY? the reason I'm asking is because "tax" oh it hurts lol...

Maybe you can post the parts of the system that you put together here.

Here is a 5% off on your total order. "pcapex"
  6. That's good you can still use the code for 5% off. Get yourself a faster shipping or something =)
  7. Maybe these pumps:

    Swiftech MCP655-B 12v Water Pump w/ 3/8" Conversion Kit (317 GPH)

Swiftech MCP655™ 12v Water Pump w/ Speed Control and 3/8" Conversion Kit (317 GPH)

As for fitting you'll need 2 for Radiator, 2 for Reservoir, 2 for CPU block and maybe get two more just in case.

    Lastly, get one of this:
    Antimicrobial .999 Fine Silver Tubing Strip 'Kill Coil" - 3.18mm x 0.5mm - 6" Length
+ Distilled Water from your local store =) No need for expensive coolant.
  8. OK, thank you for all your help
