Hello I have a Super Micro [ X5DPE-G2 ] Server board. and I was wondering, what would be the best graphics card for this system. It has the following ports:

• Max 2x 64-bit 133MHz PCI-X (3.3V) slots
Default:
• 3x 64-bit 100/66MHz PCI-X (3.3V) slot
• 3x 64-bit 66MHz PCI-X (3.3V) slots
• 1x SXB (Supermicro Extended Bus) slot

Im pretty sure the SXB is PCI-E compatible. I actually have an older one plugged into it right now.

Here is the webpage for the board: http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon/E75...

Thanks in advance.

Your MOBO will only take PCI video cards since it does NOT have any PCIe slots.

PCIX slots are Extended PCI slots which provided a 64-bit data bus.

PCIX is NOT the same as PCIe

Gaming, I want to be able to play Star Trek Online.

And, I have a PCI-E card plugged in currently, to the SXB... SXB is generally what people use for RAID

Actually it appears that it is a PCI card. Not PCI-e, so what is the best PCI card out there?

The one I have currently is a NVIDIA GeForce 5200.
