$600 Design/HTPC PC

This is my first build. I am going for a home system that will be used as a HTPC (will be hooked up to 32" 1080p TV), and graphic design work (separate monitor). Keyboard, mouse, monitor, OS not required.

I would prefer to stick with the i5 750, but anything else is open to change. I don't plan to over clock.

Is any of this overkill/underkill:

  1. Overkill IMO. And why not a newer video card?
