Hello,
I have an AMD Phenom 9950 Agena 2.6GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Black Edition Processor and I feel it's a little bit outdated.

Should I upgrade to AMD Black Edition - AMD Phenom II X4 3.4 G (170bucks)
or
AMD Black Edition - AMD Phenom II X6 3.2 GHz Processor (300bucks)

Hi hitman4o7 and welcome to THG.

1- What mobo do u have? U need check 1st the CPU support list for the mobo that u have and after that select the CPU options that u have and the budget for the CPU.
2- What do u do with the rig? games, video edition, surf the web...
4- Can u post the links of the CPUs that u have as an option?
