I want to upgrade my computer, and reached a conclusion that I need a p67 mother board to install i5 2500k CPU. But as I searched p67 on newegg, there were 36 different p67, that I have no idea what to choose.

Their prices all differ too. The below is an example of model specification. Would you please kindly tell me what to look at when choosing a motherboard?

MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard <- totally incomprehensible :sweat:

* LGA 1155 <- what is this? T_T
* Intel P67
* 4×240pin DDR3 ...

* Number of Memory Slots: 4×240pin <- should I note 240pin?
* Memory Standard: DDR3 1066/1333/1600*/2133*(OC) <- (OC) besides 2133 means overclock? you can't have overclocked 1333 ram?
* PCI Express 2.0 x16: 2 <-what is 2.0 *16: 2?
* Onboard Video Chipset: None
* Model #: P67A-GD65 (B3)
* Item #: N82E16813130574
* Return Policy: Standard Return Policy

Thanks in advance! Please help me!

Maybe you should leave the details to us.

Will you use multiple graphics cards? Will you overclock? If you don't overclock then you don't need a p67 mobo nor the k cpu and can save about $100 on a h61 mobo and non k cpu. For p67, if you don't need multiple graphic cards get the msi c43. If you do, I'd recommend the Asrock Extreme4.

But in case you are interested here's what everything is. LGA 1155 is the socket compatible with intels sandy bridge which includes the i5-2500k. All DDR3 desktop ram is 240pin. 1333 is stock speed, you have to "OC" to get anything higher. PCIe, version 2.0, 16 lanes and that mobo has 2 slots of that, which you would only need if you want 2 cards and the option does raise the price of the mobo. You should...

You should note the size of the mobo which is ATX. This is the standard mid tower size. I miss anything?
