I recently bought a new Geforce 8800GT (1gb) and tried it out on my PC. I installed the card and vista downloaded a new driver, so I restarted the PC and now my monitor won't even detect that it's plugged into a card. I tried putting my old graphics card back in but the same thing happens and I have no onboard graphics so can't even get into safe mode or anything else. Not sure what to do next?

Umm, do you PC make "tiit" sound many times?
What is your current PSU? brand? model?
Your previous card?

So, you can't get into the safe mode?

maybe the MB died, that's why the other card doesn't work either, how old is the computer
