8 pin cpu connector?

Ok so this mobo im looking at has an 8 pin cpu connector. My psu doesnt have an 8 pin connector on it but it has more than one of the 4 pin ones. Could i just plug two of those into the mobo?

You can plug in just one 4 plug connector on the motherboard. Your chosen PSU does not have an 8 pin connector and it is not essential but it would take some load off of the single 4-pin.

Your PSU has a single 4-pin CPU connector, which is fine for most processors.

Right. Your chosen PSU doesn't HAVE 2 4-pin CPU connectors - they just look similar.

If the 4 of 8 pin CPU power is capped then on that CPU you'd be fine. You can purchase a 4 to 8 pin adapter, or obviously a new PSU if there's any problems. Some MOBOs with uncapped 8 pin 'may' have issues using the MOBO's phase power correctly and in that case get the 8 pin adapter:
