i dont know anything about crossfiring ??

my motherboard has two pci express slot and it supports crossfire, (but one runs at 16x and the other one at 4x)

Right now i have 4650 graphics card, on the box it says it supports cross fire, so my question is if i want to crossfire do i need to have the same card or can i crossfire 4650 with 4850 ??? because i was thinking of buying a 4850 ....

and if one slot is 4x will it create a bottleneck for a 100$ card ???

You can only crossfire cards within the same family, you cannot crossfire a 46xx card with a 48xx card, but you could crossfire a 4650 with a 4670, but you still wont end up with great performance overall. Selling off your 4650 and just upgrading to a 4850 or 4870 will provide a large upgrade. Below is a chart that shows what you can crossfire with what, there is an updated version that has the 5xxx lineup that i cant find right now.

Just as Maziar said above, you will better by a single powerful card, you're wasting your money to CF HD4650's...

+1 to hunter, sell your 4650 and buy a new card.
Just make sure you have a good amount of power on your PSU... :)
