Can my psu run dual 4870

I have a corsair tx650, and I was wondering if I can run 2 4870s.

Specs:

Asrock 870 extreme3 mobo
Amd phenom II x4 945
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB 1333 DDR3 RAM
in a nzxt m59 with 5 fans running via fan controller

With 2 Molex -> 6-pin adapters you will be fine with a decent amount headroom for even some moderate OCing.

It should be enough...however, if you want a more accurate answer, give me all hardware specifications, including your optical drives, storage drivers...etc. But I think 650 would be enough. (Pushing it though)

The card manufacturers recommendation is a 600watt PSU for 2 x HD4870. You have a high output 650watt from a quality manufacturer. It is going to work fine!

^+1. The Corsair 650TX can easily power 2x 4780s.

That Corsair TX650 can easily power a system with two 4890's in SLI mode. You should not have any problems powering a system with two 4870's.

OOPS! It should be Crossfire mode. I am growing old disgracefully and I get things mixed up. For example, I know I am supposed to like women but I can't remember why!
