I have aspire 3000 can go online wired but not wireless ?

Is the wireless adapter switched ON. Is it working properly -- Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager -- see if it's present and not yellow flagged as faulty.

Wireless Security ? Check the settings in your router (see literature which came with router or download manual from maker) to review or renew wireless security type and passphrase, apply to wireless adapter's utilities or to Windows Wireless Connection.
