laptop doesn't recognize my travelstar.
what can i do?

Hello there,

Has it been working on your laptop until recently? And is there anything different that happened before you began having trouble - like connecting it to a different or Win-XP computer?

First thing to do is to connect it to a desktop Win-7 computer and see if it is recognized there. That will tell you if it is your laptop or the external system. Then try a different USB cable to make sure that's not the problem. Then report back.
