CPU cooler broken?!

Hey guys,

Just built my first pc with an arctic cooler freezer 7 (rev 2). I definitely installed it correctly connecting the 4 pin power. When I turned my pc on I noticed the fan on it was not spinning and wasn't after multiple trys, I've had to switch to the stock cooler for my amd phenom II 965 now which works perfectly. So anyone know what the problem was?

Well, you know the mobo will send power to the fan connector. So if you put the ACF7's fan connector on properly, its fan must be dead.
