HD 4850 X2 and power supply.

So I just got a new graphics card, a HD 4850 X2. Now, I knew that it need a 6 pin and an 8 pin connector, and looking at my PSU specs, I saw that it had a 6 pin and 2 4 pins. I figured I could work with that. Upon obtaining the card, however, I realized much to my dismay that my motherboard is actually using one of those 4-pin connectors. Without buying a new PSU, what is my best course of action here?

GPU: Radeon HD 4850 X2 2GB
Motherboard: M2N-SLI Deluxe
PSU: OCZGXS700

Thanks!

Update: And looking at the 4pins, you can't even plug them into the 8pin, as the layout is different. Not meant for PCI power then.

  1. Are a couple of molex>4pins my best option?
  2. yes, molex adapters will do the job fine providing your PSU has the available amperage to power the cards. being a 700w PSU i imagine it will.
