Hey guys i built a newer gaming computer a few months ago and had to use a spare motherboard. The computer is for gaming and here are the specs:
AMD Athlon II X4 630 Propus 2.8GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM3
500 watt power supply (sry dont know exact type its a rosewill)
2 gb ddr2 800 OCZ
destroyer gaming case
BIOSTAR TA790GXBE AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 790GX ATX AMD Motherboard
geforce 8600 gpu

this was my super budget build and now i have 300 dallors to dump into it and was wondering what i should buy to get my the biggest bang for my buck. i was thinking upgrade the motherboard and graphics card ( i have 2gb ddr3 sitting at my house that i can use also) If you guys can i was hoping to get a new LCD monitor with the 300 i had also. Thanks guys you really help alot :wahoo:

Supporting upcoming AMD Socket AM3+/AM2+ 45nm processors, it delivers better overclocking capabilities and reduces power consumption. Moreover, AM3 CPU supports both DDR2 /DDR3 memory module and accelerates data transfer rate by up to 5200MT/s via HyperTransport 3.0 technology.

just go to you motherboards home website and do a little research,im not saying all mobo's are compatible ,anyway good luck
