That's a really good build. Good latency on the RAM, good name brands on everything. I see gaming is listed last in your priority of use, so I assume the 5770 will be plenty.

But, judging by the rest of your build, I'd trust you know what graphics card you need. I don't really see anything to improve on.

As a fellow Canadian who is also upgrading his computer (although with about half or so your budget). I'm going to give you the same advice some other people gave me. When using Ncix.com, also use Shopbot.ca in order to get a slightly lower price. (Shopbot.ca looks through all Canadian online stores and compares the prices) Ncix has this "price match" program where if you can find a cheaper price on the exact same item and it is in stock, Ncix will/may match the lower price.

We just so happen to have selected the same hard drive and ram, rock on.

I hope this proves useful to you and, oh yes, the 1035$ is before tax and shipping costs.

Edit: For example, that motherboard is being sold slightly cheaper here:
http://www.bestdirect.ca/products/223282/Gigabyte/GA_P55A_UD4P/

The graphics card is for sale cheaper here:
http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=15180BD2804&vpn=HD577XZNFC&manufacture=XFX

The case is being sold cheaper here:
http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=19461BD6642&vpn=SGC-2000-KKN1-GP&manufacture=COOLER%20MASTER
(Yes, they are the same case, I checked the manufacturer's model number and compared)(SGC-2000-KKN1-GP)

Even these three comparisons bring the cost before tax and shipping down to about 983$.

Feel free to check the other parts.

Thanks guys! The shipping is free because with the intel processor shipping for the whole order is free as long as its under 140 pounds, not a bad deal.

I swapped cases for the Coolermaster Haf 922 Mid Tower which from reviews seems good, and got the 600w ocz power supply too... and I found pretty good prices with shopbot.ca (thanks danny)

Will let you guys know how it all works out when I get my goodies lol
