OCZ Vertex3 Extremely Slow

Model is OCZ Vertex3 60gb.
This is a pretty new drive. I tried it with IDE setup first then AHCI both same slowness.
Motherboard is ASUS RAMPAGE 2 Extreme.

I ran CrystalDiskMark and got this:

Test : 1000 MB [C: 31.9% (17.9/55.9 GB)] (x9)

Please someone help! This is making me cry.

Which controller are you using? Best performance usually is achieved using the ICH10R Controller in ACHI mode.
