My Computer doesn't recognize my onboard audio card that is built into the motherboard. What do I do in order to get it to work?

First reaction to your question is you need to make sure the drivers are installed.

But please tell us what your system specs are, and specifically what does Windows tell you that makes you say it doesn't recognize the audio card.

You have my condolence. While you're at it, what was the cause of the issue, if you don't mind telling us. It can be used as future preference in order to prevent the same thing from happening again.

I remember helping someone troubleshoot a computer when her wife accidentally pour coffee on it and it got fried. We got to be very careful.
