Hard drive not detected while installing windows?!

the hard drive is detected in the bios but when installing windows it says that drivers are missing so i put the motherboard driver disc in like it says to but i don't which drivers to install =/
please help!

- i3 3220
- 8gb of kingston hyperx blu
- msi b75ma-e33 motherboard
-asus radeon 6850

You didn't state your OS, but I'm guessing that it wants the sata drivers. This is why windows can't detect the drive during installation.

May be is your hard disk's MBR is damage,you can use winhex tool open hard disk,if you can see the hard drive in winhex,so the hard disk's mbr is damage.

You need to install the sata or ahci drivers, depends on wha tyou have the sata ports set as in the bios.

You can also set the ports to legacy or IDE mode and windows will install without needing drivers.
