SSD on gigabyte x58a-ud3r

Hello everybody

i have recently added SSD as my primary OS hard drive

now i changed it to ACHI from board it was IDE

the boot time is not that fast as i have seen in videos why mine is slower?

SSD Samsung 830 series 128GB

Do you have it hooked up to the Marvell 9128 Sata III ports or the Intel Sata II ports? Best speed I've gotten on my x58a-UD7 on the Marvell is like 350 read, that is with the msahci driver not the Marvell one. Raid 0 on the Intel controller I'm getting 560 read.

Boot time on that board will also be slower just because of the older style BIOS.

It was connected on Intel SATA II port
i have connected it to SATA III now the read is 374
and boot time is fast as well
so is this ok for me or i need more thing to do? i need your advice i am newbie at hardwares.
