A 550 watt with 38 amps on the +12 volt is recommended for a single GTX470 card so your 900 is enough in wattage just a question of amps on the +12 volts.

I think its a cheap-o one ... Diablotek 900watt. My friend told me that it was a POS but i looked at reviews online and everyone said it was fine and worked great. So far it has performed as i had hoped. I have a GTX 285 OCZ, i7 930 OC'd to 3.0ghz, and 6 gigs of DDR3 ocz gold RAM, and it runs all that no problem. As for the amps on the 12v rail not sure someone interested could probably look that up.

But if need be i can buy a new power supply but you know.. Why would i buy a new one if this PSU can handle it fine.

I wouldn't trust that PSU with 2 470's or 5850's...
You should get a better one...
