Connect vista to win 7

Hello,i connected my notebook(win 7) with my my pc (win vista) by crossover cable and i shared net from pc to notebook and i can see files from pc to my notebook ,but when i try to acces files from notebook to pc i get msg acces denied help me pls,....tnx

Turn off firewalls on both machines while establishing network, enable file sharing on all relevant folders.
