Cooling / overheating question

Hi,

I have recently purchased the following rig:

I7 920 @ 4.0 Ghz
Corsair H50 cooler
6GB 1600Mhz RAM
1TB Segate HDD
HD5770 Vapour-X
Antec 300 case

When I first turned the system on it was too loud. I have since turned down both the fan at the top of the case and the fan attached to the H50 to their lowest settings. It's now almost inaudible.

I am worried that the system could overheat? I have monitored the CPU with RealTemp and this is fine even under load (hovers around 40 idle, reaches mid 70's at max).

However is there a chance that other components could overheat or an I worrying about nothing?

you are worrying about nothing.

really dont feel a need to say more, yes the components are a little hotter than they could be. but they are fine.

I am a little uncomfortable with load temp's at mid-70's. But how often is your CPU under a load like that?

actually I was wrong, load is about 69/70 not mid 70's. Just had a long gaming session and highest of any of the cores was 68.

Is that OK do you think?
