I have a gtx 480 installed on a evga 3x sli classified board running on win 7 professional 64 bit.

I opened device manager, opened the properties of the gtx 480 and pressed the "Update driver".

Then the monitor went blank. I just let it for a few minutes then i panicked and pressed the reset switch. Still no display..

Did I bust my Gtx 480? :< Please Help.....

  1. I can't imagine that possibly happen. You probably just destroyed the drivers. The drivers are stored on your hard drive, not part of the graphics card itself.

Does the card display the BIOS screen? If it does, you just have to somehow uninstall all your drivers and reinstall them. If you don't have a second graphics card to do that, I guess you would have to reformat your hard drive.
