hey all, i finally finally FINALLY! upgraded from my 5770! after much thought, many umms and ahhs! i have gone with the 5870! and for an awesome price i might add :)  won off ebay with full manufacturers warranty and 6 months store warranty for 206!!! :)  so happy, is my phenom 965 going to bottleneck this at all?

phenom 965, currently running at 3.6 @ 23degrees
ocz stealthxtream 700W modular psu
4 gig crucial ballistix 1066 @2.1v
gigabyte ga-ma790gp-ud4h

22 inch acer monitor running at 1680x1050 but upgrading to 1920x1080 soon :)

No, you should be fine with a 3.6Ghz Phenom at those resolutions.

SWEEEEEEEEET :)  im so excited! hurry up royal mail and get me my card! it better max out metro 2033! i played it through on mainly high with my 5770, but i had to lose tesselation and a few more bits and lower the res :(  anyone know if it will max it?

+1 Phenom II is plenty for a 5870.

You'll max Metro for sure. The 5870 SMASHES the 5770. I wouldn't expect to max your AA though. :)  That game is damn demanding.
