I am having problems with the sound system coming from my computer. I am just using the sound card that comes along with the motherboard (Asus p6x58d-premium). Here is what I have done so far:
1) Installed and reinstalled drivers from the boot disk
2) Ensure that the sound was not mute. Currently the sound system is set at like 50.
3) Rechecked the plugs to computer. I'm positive that they were installed correctly. The heads on the wires are color coded.
4) Updated drivers from asus website. In the process, I do not know where my Realtek Audio Manager went.
That's all I can think of at the moment. I know vista won't recognize the 6gbs that I have in place. I'll be getting Windows 7 64bit in a couple of weeks.
Can someone provide me feedback on what to do next?
