Dell XPS L501X Usb 3.0 slow

So I upgraded my hd in my dell xps l501x to SSD and then put that old hd in an usb 3.0 enclosure.

I was just doing some testing with a timer, I was able to copy 1.16GB of data to the enclosure in about 22 seconds.

However, I have another i7 Samsung laptop with the same SSD and I tried to copy the same file from the samsung to the enclosure, I did it in under 15 seconds?

I wonder why? Any advice? I have heard people having slow speed on XPS's usb 3.0 ports.
