Can i overclock?

it's intel c2duo e4500 2.2ghz.want it to 2.6ghz
i have intel dg33fb motherboard......
i don't want to replace cpu cooler.let it be the stock one.
have 2gb kingston ram
have enough psu.....
so is 400mhz something bad with stock cooler and my motherboard......

I think the board has a locked BIOS.

2GB ram is already not good for playing game on most operate system even window XP. You should add more RAM 3GB+ is good and replace motherboard to OC.

However, the comment above is right, 150$ can get you AM3 motherboard with a Quadcore processor.
