i7 870 Compatible Memory

Hello,
I AM GETTING A COREi7 870 LYNNFIELD WITH AN INTEL DP55SB MOBO AND WOULD LIKE SOME HELP CHOOSING THE RIGHT MEMORY FOR THIS COMBO. A MINIMUM OF 4 OR 6 GB TO START DDR3 OF COURSE, BUT WHICH BRAND OR BRANDS ARE THE MOST COMPATIBLE?

they have a list of tested memory in there.
You should be able to use any 4gb set that is compatible in speed to the board. I personally have good experience with gskill and OCZ

Intel motherboards usually work with just about any memory you put in them BUT they usually have locked BIOS so you will not be able to overclock .....something to think of before buying an Intel board. I would recommend a Gigabyte P55 UDx or Asus P7 myself.
