P8P67 Deluxe Intel Ethernet slow to connect

Just as Topic states... It takes somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-45 seconds plus to connect to my router (WNDR3700). Usually i wouldn't mind but all my apps loading give no connection errors. Any ideas as to why this is? I do have the network plugged into the Intel NIC not the RTL NIC, rest of specs in my sig

Here are a few theories:

1. Driver needs updating
2. Router firewall needs adjusting
3. Windows firewall conflicting
4. Third party firewall, if any, is conflicting
5. Connection must pass through AV software before getting to router

Checked all that, I even connected LAN to the other NIC the RTL one. and it worked fine.
Update though, it mysteriously went away. I rebooted entire network including routers, switches, external NAS and now it all seems to work fine. No clue what changed.

I occasionlly have to reboot my router. For whatever reason, it is the culprit when I have network issues.

If you have issues in the future, remove the router from the equation for a while. See how your network responds.
